New Tutorial ~ French Harlem

This tutorial is written for those with a working knowledge of PSP.
Supplies Needed:
 I am using Corel PSP X2 version but any version will do.
 Tube of choice.  I am using the sexy artwork of Olivia. You can purchase a license at CILM.
FTU scrap kit by Sabre called French Harlem ~ found HERE.  Thank you Sabre! ♥
Mask of choice ~ any circular mask will do.
Supplies HERE
Plugin Mura's Meister ~ Copies
Optional plugin:  DSB Flux ~ Bright Noise
 Font used is Yolanda Princess, which is a pay font and cannot be supplied.
 * * * * *
 Open a new transparent image 650 x 575 pixels and flood fill white.
Open Sabre French Harlem black/beige frame ~ resize 75%.
Copy 'n paste onto your working image.
With your selection tool, draw a rectangular selection beyond the inside of the frame
Open paper 5, resized to 450 pixels wide, copy 'n paste as a new layer. Sharpen once.
Selections invert ~ delete
Open beige ribbon, copy 'n paste as a new layer, centering to middle of frame.
Selections ~ delete. Selections none.
Move frame layer above ribbon and paper layers.
D/S frame 2,3,50, 7 blur, black
Give the ribbon a more subtle D/S like 0, 0, 50, 5 blur, black
Using rectangular selection tool, draw a rectangular selection over the beige area only of the ribbon

Adjust Hue & Saturation ~ colorize ~ hue 250, saturation 60.
Selections ~ none.
Open sequin from supplies, Adjust hue & saturation ~ colorize  ~ hue 250, saturation 60.
Copy 'n paste as new layer, making it the very top layer on your layer palette.
Using Mura Meister ~ Copies ~ Encircle ~ setting: # 31, shift X = 83, shift Y = 90, all other settings remain.
D/S this sequin layer ~ 2, 3, 50, 7 blur, black
Move this sequin layer above your white background layer.
Open flower 13 ~ Adjust ~ Hug & Saturation ~ colorize ~ hue 250, saturation 78
copy 'n paste as a new layer.
Using Mura's Meister ~ Copies ~ Wallpaper ~ setting: # 129, 50, 50, all other settings remain
Feel free to adjust these settings to fill the layer with the flower completely
Open mask of choice, minimize
Layers ~ New Mask Layer ~ From layer ~ find your mask 'n apply.
Delete the mask from your layer palette and merge group.
Move this masked layer above your white background layer.
Open both stamps from kit, copy 'n paste as a new layer, moving stamps above the masked layer and to the left.
Rotate one stamp 15 degrees to left and one stamp 10 degrees to left. D/S both.
 Open flower 9, Adjust hue & saturation ~ colorize ~ hue 250, saturation 60
Copy 'n paste as a new layer, move to left, above the stamp layers but below your sequin layer. D/S
Open tube of choice, copy 'n paste as the very top layer  D/S
Add any other embellishments of choice. I colorized the tag and placed it behind the tube. D/S
Open the pin, using the freehand selection tool ~ point to point, I drew a selection around the ribbon of the pin only, press delete on your keyboard.
selections ~ none. Copy 'n paste the pin as a new layer ~ place above ribbon layer inside of frame. See reference tag.
I chose to colorize the head of the pin by drawing a selection around the head only ~ freehand selection ~ point to point.
Adjust hue & saturation ~ colorize hue 19, saturation 60.
Adjust brightness/contrast ~ brightness 20, contrast 0. Selections none.
Duplicate pin, mirror. Using rectangular selection tool, delete any part of the pins to make it appear to
thread through ribbon. Selections none. D/S both pin layers.
Resize complete tag at this point if desired.
 Add your copyright, watermark, URL and name
If you don't wish to animate your sequins,
 Merge all flatten and save as a .png or .jpeg.

If you wish to animate,
close off or delete the white background layer
Find the sequin layer, using plugin DSB Flux ~ bright noise ~ intensity 33, mix ~ apply
(If you do not have this plugin use Adjust ~ add noise ~ Uniform 33, monochrome checked.)
Copy Merged
Open Animation Shop, paste as a new animation
Back to PSP, undo your noise, add noise again but hitting the Mix button once.
(If you use the add noise effect, simply hit the uniform button once.)
Copy Merged 'n paste in A/S after current frame.
Back to PSP, undo the noise, add noise again by hitting the Mix button once again.
(if using the add noise effect, simply hit the uniform button once again.)
Copy Merged 'n paste in A/S after the current frame.
View animation, if happy, Select All, change animation properties to opaque white.
Optimize, save as a GIF. Enjoy your new tag!
