Delete the white background layer.
Find the star animation layer,
using the Lighten/Darken tool on your left-hand toolbar,
we will lighten each side of the star frame (10 sides in all) starting with left top.
Lighten section by left clicking on mouse and lightening area by mousing over it twice. (Is mousing a word? lol)
Copy MERGED & paste in A/S as a new animation.
Back to PSP, UNDO your lighten effect, and lighten the next side of the star frame.
(Do not worry about overlapping areas
when lightening as it will blend in during animation.)
Copy MERGED 'n paste in A/S after current frame.
Undo/redo this lighten effect on all 10 sides of star frame.
When done, you should have a total of 10 frames in A/S.
Back to PSP, undo the lighten effect. Copy MERGED 'n paste in A/S after frame 10.
(This will be a frame with NO lightening effect applied.)
We now have 11 frames in A/S.
Click on frame 11, change frame properties to 120.
All other frames will stay at default of 10.
Change animation properties to opaque white.
View animation. If happy, optimize and save as a GIF.
Hope you enjoy your new Christmas tag!
