And A Lusion

This tutorial is intended for those with a working knowledge of PSP
Supplies Needed:
 Corel PSP X2 or any version thereof.
Tube of choice.  I am using the brilliant artwork of Shawn Palek of UYA

FTU cluster frame by Dee HERE. Thank you, Dee! ♥
Vix-Val2012Mask2 found HERE. Thank you, Vix! ♥
Sparkles of choice or fairydust brushes by Dark Yarrow  
(the ones I used I cannot supply)
Plugin:  Xero - Fritillary
Font used is Lovers Quarrel ROB

 * * * * *
 1.  Open a new transparent image 650 x 650 px.  Flood fill white to see what we create more clearly.
Open frame ~ resize 600 px in height. C/P, moving slightly to right

2. Choose two colors from the frame or from your tube, the darker
in the foregound, the lighter in the background material window
Make a foregound gradient ~ 45 degree angle, repeat 1

Select white background layer, add a new raster layer ~ flood fill with the gradient
Open mask, minimize 
Layers ~ New Mask Layer ~ from Image ~ find Vix-Val2012Mask2
Source luminance checked ~ apply. Merge group.



3.  Using selection tool, point to point, draw a selection beyond the inside
opening of the frame
Add a new raster layer above the mask layer
flood fill the selection with same gradient. Deselect
Using plugin Xero ~ Fritillary ~ setting: 3, 30, 100, 20
Apply. 

Add a new raster layer, with foreground color set at #dea3b1, background nil
select the paintbrush tool, choose any grungy brush
*Some PSP grunge brushes may be found HERE*
Apply using sz 450 (or size of choice), step 32, density 100, opacity 100 
. Change the blend mode of this layer to 'soft light'

4.  Open main tube ~ C/P 
Duplicate ~ move duplicate tube above frame layer 
Using eraser tool, erase bottom part of tube that extends over frame.
* see reference tag *

D/S the original tube & frame layers with your favourite setting.
Add sparkles of choice as your topmost layer OR
 fairydust brushes on a new raster layer in color # fffcd9.

If you wish, resize tag now using Smart Size


5. Add copyright, watermark & name.
Delete white background 'n save as a PNG

So Beautiful

Optional:  EyeCandy 5 ~ Perspective Shadow
Font used is Burgues Script, a payfont

 * * * * *
 1.  Open template394 ~ resize all layers checked 90% smartsize.
Resize canvas 662 x 590 px.
Delete credit information & raster 8 (large black rectangle)


2.  Add a new raster layer above raster layer 1 (bottommost layer)
Select all. Open paper 1, Copy 'n paste into the selection. Deselect.
Open mask, minimize.
Layers ~ New Mask Layer ~ from Image ~ find mask & apply.
Merge group.

3.  Select raster 18 ~ select all ~ float ~ defloat ~ add a new raster layer
Open paper 10 ~ Copy 'n paste into the selection. Deselect.
Sharpen. Sharpen more. Delete raster 18.

~ Repeat this for Copy of Raster 18 layer ~


Select raster 19, select all ~ float ~ defloat
add a new raster layer 
Open paper 9, copy 'n paste into the selection. Deselect. Sharpen
Add EyeCandy 4000 ~ gradient glow 
glow width 4, soft corners 0, overal opacity 100
Apply gradient as below:  Color # 382632

Using magic wand, tolerance 10, feather 0, select 
the gradient glow layer ~ add noise affect as above. Deselect.
Delete raster 19.

4. Select raster 24 ~ change color to white by adjust contrast/brightness 255/0 respectively.
D/S 1/1/45/4 blur, color black
Change the following layers to white also : raster 21, 15, copy of 15, copy of 21, 22 and copy of 22.


Select raster 23 ~ adjust add noise ~  random, 40, monochrome checked.
Select raster 20 ~ all ~ float ~ defloat ~ add a new raster layer
open paper 7 ~ copy 'n paste into the selection. Deselect. Sharpen.


5.  Select all Raster 14 ~ float ~ defloat ~ add a new raster layer
Open paper 4, copy 'n paste into the selection. Deselect. Sharpen
Add same gradient glow color as earlier.


Do the very same with layer:  copy of raster 14.


6.  Add elements of choice.
element 5 ~ 25% ~ duplicate ~ mirror
element 40 & 41 ~ 20%, duplicate one
element 27 ~ 35%
element 38 ~ 32%
To darken frame, use adjust contrast/brightness ~ minus 20/0.
(this will contrast the frame nicely with the paper we add below)
Using magic wand, click inside of element 38 ~ mod selection ~ expand by 5
Open paper 1 ~ resize 600 px wide ~ C/P as a new layer
Invert selection ~ delete. Move paper layer below frame.
Do not deselect yet.
Open wordart of choice.
The one I used said
"You Are So Beautiful to Me"
in a Scriptina Font & any serif sans font like Champagne & Limousines 
 Add wordart above paper layer ~ delete excess. Deselect.
add Element 7 ~ 25% to left of frame (below paper layer of frame)
duplicate ~ mirror.
element 2 ~ 20%
element 25 ~ 25% ~ duplicate ~ free rotate with pick tool
element 45 ~ 15%
element 46 ~ 15% 
element 32 ~ 10 % then 75%

D/S elements & papers with setting of choice or 2/2/45/5 blur, color black.


7.  Add main tube of choice, resize if needed
C/P
Add EyeCandy 5 ~ Perspective Shadow as below:




8.  Select the mask layer, using pick tool, stretch the mask sideways to see it below all the layers.

If you wish to resize your tag, do so now using smartsize.

9. Add copyright, watermark & Name 
For name I used fill color #a8c4c0, foreground nil.
Font Burgues Script Sz 72-90
Add noise ~ uniform ~ monochrome ~ 33.
Add same gradient glow as earlier.
Sharpen & D/S 


Delete white background ~ save as a PNG.

 1.  Open a new transparent image 650 x 600 px. Flood fill white.
Open element 14 ~ resize to 600 px wide
C/P
Open frame 6, resize 75% C/P


2. Open main tube (preferable a face tube) C/P below frame layer
Using selection tool, point to point, draw a selection beyond 
the opening of the frame
Still on the face tube layer, right click on the layer palette
choose 'promote selection to layer'
Deselect.
D/S 3/3/59/5 blur, color black


3. Open circular mask, minimize
Select the 'original tube' layer
(the layer not promoted to a selection)
Layers ~ new mask layer ~ from image ~ find mask20/20 ~ source liminance checked ~ apply.
Merge Group.
This nicely blends the tube with background.


4.  Now personalize your tags with elements of choice.
element 5 ~ 50%
element 3 ~ 80%
element 12 ~ 75%
element 10 ~ 75%
element 25 ~ 20%
 element 4 ~ 40%

element 6 ~ 90%
wordart supplied (no D/S needed)

D/S frame & elements with same setting as above.

Take Time To Smell The Flowers

The idea of this tutorial belongs to

 * * * * *
 1.  Open a new transparent image 650 x 650 px. Flood fill white. Set aside for now.
Open Paper 4 ~ resize 600 px .
Open Paper 6 ~ resize 600 px. C/P as a new layer above Paper 4 image.
Using the Move Tool, move paper 6 to right until you see enough of Paper 4 beneath,
making sure to align the two papers evenly. Merge paper 6 down to Paper 4.
Add a new raster layer ~ select All
Select paper layer ~ Image ~ Crop to Selection.
Using crop tool, crop the paper layer to 585 x 487 px (the numbers seen in brackets on bottom bar of PSP)
C/P this paper onto your white working image.
D/S using 10/10/35/10 blur, color # 404040.

2.  Open element 40 ~ 90% C/P Sharpen twice.
D/S 1/2/35/10blur, color #404040
Add D/S to elements as you go.
Add leaves, flowers resized as you wish.
Resize the large stems by 50% and the flowers by 35%.
element 1 ~ 100%
element 2 ~ 25%
element 5 ~ 50%
element 6 ~ 50%
element 16 ~ 25%
element 17 ~ 15%
element 49 ~ 35%
element 55 ~ 15%
element 56 ~ 5%

3.  Add wordart ~ resized 50%
Change color to white using brightness/contrast 255/0 respectively
D/S 2/2/35/4 blur, color black

4. Copy main tube, paste as new layer behind flower
but above green ribbon frame. D/S

5. Add copyright, watermark & name

Soft Dreamer ~ Tutorial

This tutorial is merely a guide. Feel free to use elements of choice.
This kit is so versatile.


  * * * * *
 1.  Open a new transparent image 650 x 650 px. Flood fill white.
Add a new raster layer ~ select All
Open Paper 5 copy ~ paste into the selection. Deselect.
Open chas mask36, minimize.
Layers ~ New Mask Layer ~ from image ~ find mask & apply.
Merge group.

2. Open frame elment 69 ~ resize 85%.  C/P Rotate ~ 7 degrees to left.
Using selection tool, point to point, draw a selection beyond
opening of frame.
Open paper 1, C/P as a new layer ~ invert selection ~ delete. Move paper layer
below frame. Do not deselect.
Open close up of tube, C/P above paper ~ arrange ~ delete. Deselect.
Select all ~ float ~ defloat ~ modify selection expand by 1 px.
Plugin: Xero ~ Serious Fog:  73, 50, midtones, 1, 76.
Apply. Deselect
Affects ~ illumination affects ~ sunburst ~ color white, 2, 21, 5
density 100, brightness 70, circle brightness 30 ~ apply.
Repeat this affect on the paper layer.

3. Open element 18, resize 65% C/P across middle of frame. Use pick tool
to rotate evenly over frame.

Resize flowers 25 - 30%, element 60  ~ 75%
Duplicate ~ mirror ~ arrange
element 74 ~ 85%
element 71 ~ 75%
element 49
element 45 ~ 50%
element 53 ~ 75%
element 62 ~ 75%
element 50 ~ 50 to 60%
element 47 ~ 25%
element 52 ~ 55%
element 63 ~75%
element 73 ~ 50%
element 55

D/S all elements:  2/5/35/10 blur, color #202020


4. Copy main tube again, C/P ~ resize if needed ~ mirror
Apply same Xero ~  Serious fog affect as above.
D/S


5. Add copyright, watermark & name
Delete white background ~ save as a PNG

Wicked Little Cupcake ~ Tutorial

Now let's get started...

  * * * * *
 1.  Open a new transparent image 650 x 650 px. Flood fill white.
Add a new raster layer ~ select All ~open paper 10. C/P into the selection. Deselect.
Open chasmask36, minimize.
Layers ~ New Mask Layer ~ from Image ~ find mask. Apply.
Merge group. Free rotate ~ rotate 90 degrees to left.
Open Paper2 ~ resize 75 - 85% C/P as a new layer
Press 'delete' and Deselect.
Move paper layer below frame.

Select frame layer ~ select all ~ float ~ defloat ~ add a new raster layer
Open paper 9 ~ copy ' paste into the selection ~ deselect.
Select original frame layer ~ change color
Affect ~ Hue & Saturation settings 10/54 respectively.
Duplicate ~ change blend mode to 'multiply'.

2. Open tube ~ resize if needed C/P above paper layer.
Mirror. Select paper layer, using magic wand, click
outside the paper layer
Back to tube layer, arrange tube ~ press delete. Deselect. Drop opacity to 65.
Duplicate tube layer
Still on this layer ~ apply ColorRave ~ Atmospherizer 1.1 default settings.


3.  Personalize tag by adding elements of choice
D/S elements 2/2/45/4 blur, color black

element 4 ~ 50%
element 6 ~ 50%
element 8 ~ 25%, rotate 10 degrees to right, sharpen
element 10 ~ 40%
element 16 - 40%
element 20 ~ 20%
element 17 ~ 75%
element 12 ~ 25%
element 14 ~ 100%
wordart3 ~ 60%

4. Add main tube ~ resize as needed.
C/P ~ drop shadow using EyeCandy 5 Impact ~ Perspective shadow setting as below:

NOTE:  Move the drop shadow by dragging the
nodes on the deformed image seen within ^ EyeCandy window.
Move slightly upward and decrease opacity in 'Basic' window if desired.


4.  Resize tag now using smartsize.
Add copyright, watermark & name.
For name, I used fill color only #b76c83
Inner bevel: 2, width 31, 16, 16, -16, 6
color white, angle 315, 35, 71.
Select all ~ float ~ defloat
Plugin Flaming Pear ~ SuperBladePro setting as below:


Duplicate name ~ change blend mode to multiply.
D/S original name layer only.

5. Delete white background ~ save as a PNG

Easter Surprise ~ Tutorial

* * * * *
 1.  Open a new transparent image 600 x 250 px. Foreground color
find the gradient TBT_Aphrodite ~ angle 45, repeats 0. Flood fill the layer.
Blur ~ Gaussian blur ~ 10.
Open paper 4 from Bunny kit. C/P as new layer ~ change blend mode to screen 'n drop opacity to 40.  Merge down.
Using L en K's Zitah ~ settings: 5,25,28,45,69,66,67, 255 ~ apply.


2.  Open QP ~ resize to 600 px wide. C/P ~ change blend mode to Luminance
Open face tube ~ resize if needed. C/P below QP layer. Arrange in middle of opening.
Using selection tool, draw a point to point selection beyond the opening on the QP layer
(where the face tube shows through) ~ invert selection ~ delete ~ deselect.

3.  Using pen tool, line style dotted ~ width 2, create on vector
foreground color #b42c38, fill none
draw a point to point Bezier Curve randomly above the QP layer
see below:


When the dotted line is drawn, convert to a raster layer
Duplicate ~ mirror ~ flip
and align the duplicate at the tail end of the original line
Merge down ~ change blend mode to burn
Make a few more if desired ~ have some fun with this!

4.  Open main tube, resize as needed C/P to left.

5. Add a new raster layer (this should be your uppermost layer)
Select all ~ flood fill with the same gradient as earlier
Modify selection ~ contract by 3 px. ~ delete. Deselect.
Affects ~ edge affects ~ Enhance. D/S with a light setting

Add a new raster layer ~ select all
for gradient, find the TBT_Pink Lush 2
45 degrees, no repeats
Flood fill the selection ~ modify selection ~ contract 6 px. ~ delete ~ deselect.
Affects ~ edge affects ~ Enhance.
1/1/35/5 blur, color black

6.  Add copyright info, watermark & Name.

Merge visible ~ save as a PNG. If you wish to animate, continue...

* * * * *

1.  To animate, do not merge visible
close off all layers above the bezier curve layer (excluding the bezier curve)
Copy merged the bottom layers

2.  Open A/S, paste as a new animation

Open the traileftjek11212 animation. It has a large # of frames, so we're going to 'cull'
the animation to keep the file size smaller.

With animation open, select all frames ~ Animation cull ~ remove 1 frame for every 2.
Ok. Repeat this. You should have 30 frames.
Edit Copy.

3.  Back to your new Animation, copy ~ duplicate frame to equal 30 frames.
Select All ~ propagate paste.
Select first frame of traileftjek ani, and drag over the first frame of
the working tag, centering slightly to left of opening (face tube)
View animation for placement
* you can always undo the step and tweak the placement of the ani*

4.  Back to PSP,
close off the bottom layers we copied and open all the layers ABOVE
the bezier curve layer.  Copy Merged

Back to A/S
Paste as a New Animation ~ duplicate frames to equal 30

select first frame and drag it over the main image, being careful to align the edges.
click on first frame ~ change frame property to 60,
leaving the other frames at 10.  View Animation
if happy, optimize ochtree, error diffusion

Save as a GIF

1.  To make the avatar in PSP,
open the original signature, close off all the top layers except the main tube and layers below it.
Copy Merged

2.  Open a new image 150 x 150
Paste as a new layer ~ arrange to show the portion you prefer as your avatar.
I chose the face tube area.
Select the bottom layer ~ select All
Back to the face image layer ~ Image ~ Crop to Selection.
Add a new raster layer ~ Select All ~ flood fill with the TBT_lush 2 gradient (same settings as earlier)
modify selection contact 4 px ~ delete ~ deselect.
Affects ~ edge affects ~ Enhance.
Add a new raster layer ~ select All ~ flood fill with the TBT_aphrodite gradient
modify selection ~ contract by 4 px. ~ delete ~ deselect.
Affects ~ edge ~ Enhance.
D/S 1/1/35/5 blur, black

3.  Add copyright & Initial.

4.  Close the top four layers
Copy Merged the bottom layers

In A/S, paste as a new animation
duplicate for 30 frames
Edit ~ select all ~ propagate paste
Drag first first of animation over first frame of avatar.
View animation for placement.

5.  Back to PSP, close the bottom layers, open the top four layers
Copy Merged

In A/S paste as a new animation
Duplicate for 30 frames in total.
Edit ~ select all ~ copy
Drag first frame over first frame of Avatar
(being careful of edge placement)

View animation
if happy ~ optimize as above. Save as a GIF.

 1.  Open a new transparent image 600 x 600 px. Flood fill white.
Add a new raster layer ~ select All ~open paper 25. C/P into the selection. Deselect.
Open & minimize mask. 
Layers ~ New Mask Layer ~ from Image ~ find mask. Apply.
Merge group.


2.  Open stamp frame C/P
Using selection tool, point to point, draw a selection beyond inside
of frame to include all three frames.
Open paper 27 ~ resize 600 px.
C/P as a new layer. Selections ~ invert ~ delete.
Move paper layer below frame.
Open main tube ~ resize if necessary ~ C/P as a new layer above paper.
Arrange ~ delete. Deselect.
Duplicate tube layer.
On duplicate layer ~ select all ~ float ~ defloat ~ modify selection ~ expand by 1
Apply plugin Xero ~ Serious Fog ~ setting: 55, 30, mid-tones, 1, 64 strength.
Apply. Deselect. Drop opacity to approx 64.


3. Add elements of choice
string ~ 12% ~ rotate left 60% ~ duplicate ~ arrange opposite side
Leaves 3 ~ 20% ~ duplicate ~ flip ~ mirror
strip wordart 8, 9, 10 ~ 10% 
bike 2 ~ 20%
ribbon 11 ~ 15%
flowers ~ 6 -7%
nest ~ 16%
jelly beans ~ 10%
chicken & rabbit ~ 10-15%
Happy Easter Wordart ~ 10%
apply gradient glow ~ white ~ 3, softcorners = 0
setting 'fat' except move right slider middle
Apply. 
D/S 2/3/35/10 blur, color black
butterfly5 ~ 10%
Dropshadow all elements except masked layer & serious fog tube layer.


4..  Delete white background ~ save as a PNG
or 
Merge all Flatten, save as a JPEG.

  * * * * *
 1.  Open a new transparent image 650 x 650 px. Flood fill white.
Add a new raster layer ~ select All
Open Paper of choice ~ paste into the selection. Deselect.
Open WSL_mask 248, minimize.
Layers ~ New Mask Layer ~ from image ~ find mask & apply.
Merge group.

2. Open frame ~ resize 20%.  C/P
Open flowers (daisies) ~ resize 15% C/P ~ mirror
Open main tube of choice, C/P
Apply plugin Xero ~ Radiance setting: 243, 130, 175, 201
Open flowers 2, resize 30% C/P
Open sheep cluster ~ resize  20% ~ Adjust brightness/contrast = 12/2
Sharpen ~ Unsharp mask setting: 1.00 , 50, 1 Luminance checked. Apply.
Add wordart of choice or one supplied 



3. Add copyright, watermark and Name.
For Name use New Garden font, fill color white, fore Nil
D/S 0,0,35, 10 blur, color #202020
Move Name layer below 'Flowers 2' layer to make it appear to partially hide in flowers.

Happy Bunny Eggs ~ Tutorial

 1Open a new transparent image 650 x 650 px. Flood fill white.
Open the element 27, resize 600 px C/P
Open mask and minimize.
Layers  ~ new mask Layer ~ find mask and apply.
Merge group.

2.  Open frame 4, C/P ~ free rotate 90 degrees to right
Resize 90%.
Using magic wand, tolerance 10, feather 0, click inside of frame ~ invert selection
Open paper 6, resize 600 px. C/P as a new layer
Press delete on keyboard ~ Deselect.
Move paper layer below frame.

3.  Open tube of choice. C/P above paper layer (below frame)
Duplicate tube ~ move copy above frame.
Erase any part of 'copy' tube that overlaps frame.
Open element 14 ~ 75% C/P
Element 19 ~ 80%
Element 15
Element 1 ~ 55%
Element 28 ~ rotate 7 degrees to right
Element 26 ~ 55%
Element 12
Element 21 ~ 25%
Element 22 ~ 40%
Element 20 ~ 35%

4. Open frame 5 ~ 80% C/P below the paper layer beneath frame & tubes
Free rotate 12 degrees to right
Duplicate ~ mirror
Merge down
Using magic wand, click inside each frame, holding down shift key
Modify selection ~ expand by 5 px ~ invert selection
Open paper 9 ~ resize 600 px ~ C/P as a new layer ~ delete excess
Open tube of choice
C/P as a new layer ~ arrange within right frame ~ delete excess
Back to tube ~ mirror C/P ~ arrange within left frame ~ delete excess
Deselect.
Merge down the tube layer to tube layer below it.
Duplicate this merged tube layer.
On this duplicate tube layer,
use Plugin Xero - Serious Fog
settings:

Severity 100, whiteout 46,
Midtones
definition 1, strength 70
Apply.

Select the outside perimeter of the paper layer that lies within these frames
using the magic wand as above.
Then select the serious fog-duplicate tube layer
and press delete. This removes the fog that lies outside the frame.
Deselect.

5.  Add a nice soft D/S to all layers (except duplicate tube layer)
 of 2/3/35/10 blur, color black

6. Add copyright, watermark & Name to tag.

Delete white background and save as a PNG or
merge all flatten and save as a JPEG.

Hello Spring ~ Tutorial

 1.  Open a new transparent image 600 x 600 px. Flood fill white.
Add a new raster layer ~ select all
open paper of choice ~ Copy 'n paste into the selection.
Deselect. Open mask and minimize. Layers ~ new mask layer ~ from image
Find mask in drop down list.
Apply sg tiny hearts mask.
Merge group.

2. Open wooden crate from kit. Resize 20% ~ C/P
enlarge the image by 200% by turning center wheel on mouse to better visualize area.
Using selection tool ~ freehand ~ point to point
draw a selection around the front of the wooden crate as below:


Promote this selection to a layer by right clicking on the crate layer on the layers palette.
Add your hyacinth flowers ~ resized 15 - 18%. Turn the flowers using the pick tool (deformation tool). Sharpen once.
Place the flowers below the promoted selection layer of the crate but above
the original crate layer. This will give the illusion the flowers
are laying inside the crate.

3. Add main tube of choice, resized if needed.
 C/P behind the flower but above original crate layer.
Duplicate tube. On original tube layer ~ adjust blur ~ gaussian blur of 2.
This blur is used instead of a drop shadow.

4. Open grass ~ resized 10- 15%. C/P behind the crate layers
and C/P some on top of the promoted crate layer. Duplicate as needed.
To change the color of the grass in the foreground,
use the Manual Color Correction tool
to change the color to a lighter green from your tube.

4. open leafy twig ~ resize 15%. C/P
rotate using pick tool, sharpen once.

5. Open green swirl, ~ resize 20% C/P above masked layer.
Open wordart resize 20% C/P
Open butterflies ~ resize 15% C/P

6. Open alpha ~ resize 15% C/P
Add bow supplied with alpha ~ resized.

D/S elements and alpha except swirl, main tube and masked layer.
Use a soft setting
of 10/10/35/10 blur, color #404040

7. Add copyright, URL & watermark.

Delete white background and save as a PNG or
merge all flatten and save as a JPEG.

All done!

Love You Tutorial

 1.  Open the HOT template. Delete top 5 layers and square 2 (near bottom).
RESIZE enter template 90% smartsize, all layers checked.
Change canvas size to 675 x 575 ~ centered.

Select rectangle 2 layer, adjust add noise ~ random, noise 3, monochrome checked
Select square 1, using the Manual Color Correction Tool
change color to #a91fa1.
Using filters unlimited 2 ~ paper textures ~ filter paper 128/74
Apply.

2.  Select small circle 1, float ~ defloat ~ add a new raster layer
on materal palette, choose foreground # 830543 and bg # b31174.
Select gradient in foreground angle 45, repeat 1
flood fill the selection. Deselect. Delete small circle 1.
Repeat same for small circle 2.

3.  Select rectangle ~ using manual color correction change color
to #b31174. Using L en K's Zitah plugin, settings 5,24,37,47,69,66,57, 27
Apply.

Select frame back, float ~ defloat ~ invert selection
Open main tube ~ C/P as a new layer ~ arrange ~ delete. Deselect.
Apply plugin Adjust Variations ~ more red. Add same L en K's Zitah setting as above.
Repeat for Copy of frame back (on left side).


4.  Select frame 1, change color to black using brightness/contrast -255/0.
Add affect noise ~ random, noise 29, monochrome checked.
Sharpen once.
Repeat for frame 2.

5. Select circle back layer (white noise layer)
Change color to black using same brightness/contrast setting as above.
Add noise as above.
Sharpen.

6.  Select circle 1 layer, float ~ defloat ~ add a new raster layer
Open hardcore dark pink paper ~ copy 'n paste into the selection. Deselect.
Sharpen more.
Select circle 2 layer, change color to black using same brightness/contrast setting above.
Add plugin L en K's Zitah ~ settings:  5,33,37,47,69,66,57, 29
Apply.
Still on Circle 2, float ~ defloat ~ modify expand selection by 6 pixels
Add a new raster layer, move this layer BELOW circle 2
flood fill with # b31174. Deselect.
Add noise as above. Sharpen.

7. Open acrylic star frame dark pink, C/P
Using magic wand, click inside of star frame ~ modify selection  ~ expand by 5
invert selection
Open close up of tube. Copy 'n paste as a new layer BELOW the star frame.
Arrange as desired to right ~ delete. Do not deselect.

Open close up of tube again ~ mirror ~ copy 'n paste as a new layer
Arrange to left of star frame. Delete. Deselect.
Erase any part of closeup tube that may overlap other close-up tube.
Merge the two close-ups together. Apply plugin Adjust Variations as above.
D/S star frame

8. To personalize your tag, add other elements of choice, resized.
Open mask layer supplied, C/P above white background layer.
D/S all layers except mask layer using favourite setting or 2/2/50/5/black.

Add "I Love You" wordart ~ resize 9%. C/P.
Select all ~ float ~ defloat ~ add a new raster layer.
Flood fill with color #b31174. Deselect.
Delete original wordart. D/S wordart.


If you wish to resize tag, do so now using smartsize.

9. Add main tube. C/P ~ duplicate
On original tube layer ~ adjust blur ~ gaussian blur of 2.
Select Circle 1 layer ~ select all ~ float ~ defloat ~ invert selection
Back to main tube layer, erase any portion of tube that
extends below the circle selected.
Do same for the duplicated tube layer.
Deselect.

10. Add copyright, URL, & watermark.
Add name in black fill color. Use color # b31174 for the gradient glow.
Sharpen. D/S.

Delete white background. Save as a PNG.

Lucky ~ Tutorial

1. Open a new transparent image 650 x 650 px. Flood fill white. We can resize later.
Add a new raster layer ~ select All
Open paper 7 from Green Galore kit ~ paste into the selection. Deselect.
Open mask, minimize.
Layers ~ from New Mask Layer ~ from Image ~ find mask ~ apply.
Merge group. Resize 105 - 110%.
Open frame 6 from Green Galore kit, C/P
Using magic wand, feather 0, tolerance 10, click outside the frame ~ modify selection
contract by 3
Open Time warp paper ~ resize 600 px. C/P as a new layer above frame
Press delete ~ deselect.
Move paper layer below frame layer 'n sharpen paper layer once.

2. On frame layer, using magic wand ~ same settings ~ click on the black outline inside
the frame. Hold down shift key to select more areas ~ Do not worry about
areas below the stitching. When most of the black area is selected ~ promote this selection
to a new layer by right clicking on the layer within the layer palette. Deselect
On the promoted layer ~ affect ~ inner bevel use setting:
bevel # 2, width 6, smoothness 25, depth 7, ambience - 20,
shininess 35, color white, angle 135, intensity 35, elevation 70.
Apply. Duplicate ~ change blend mode to Multiply and drop opacity to 65. Merge down.
D/S using 4/4/50/4 blur, color black

3. Open OL film strip frame 3 from O'Lucky kit, change color to black
by using brightness/contrast -255/0 respectively.
Resize 90% C/P on working image
Using rectangular selection tool, draw a selection just beyond the inner
opening of full width of film strip (see reference tag). Invert selection.
Open image of face supplied with tube, C/P below filmstrip frame
Arrange so face of image fills the left two openings of filmstrip. Press delete.
Deselect. Duplicate image ~ mirror ~ arrange so it fills the right half of the entire filmstrip.
Merge down the duplicate copy to the original image layer.
Using Xero - Porcelain setting:
standard setting except change blue channel to 0, green channel to 255, red channel 0.
Apply. Repeat.
Back to filmstrip layer, D/S same setting. Merge down.
Free rotate this filmstrip/image 7 degrees to left. Sharpen.
Move slightly downward.

4. Add main tube. Resize as desired.
Duplicate. Change blend mode to soft light and drop opacity to 75. Add affect blur ~ Gaussian blur setting of 2.
On original tube layer add
D/S on a 'New Layer' by checking the box in the drop shadow window
using 3/4/45/15 blur, color black

5. Add wordart supplied. D/S 4/4/50/4 black
Add other elements from both kits as desired to personalize your tag.
 D/S each with same setting as above.

Resize tag with all layers checked, 90% smartsize.

6.  Add copyright, URL, watermark & name.
To add name,
use sz 90 black fill, Scriptina font, BOLD
Duplicate ~ merge down.
 EyeCandy 4000, gradient glow, glow width 5, soft corners 0,
color from tube or paper.  Slide left slider to middle ~ apply.
D/S

Delete white background and save as a PNG.

Irish Girls ~ Tutorial

1. Open a new transparent image 700 x 650 px. Flood fill white. We can resize later.
Open element 3, resize 125%, sharpen
resize 125% again, sharpen
adjust ~ digital camera noise removal:

C/P onto blank image.

2.  Add a new raster layer. Move it below flower wreath.
Select All ~ open Paper 1 ~ Paste into the selection. Deselect.
Open mask 27, minimize. Layers ~ New Mask Layer ~ From Image
Find mask 27 & apply. Merge Group.
Resize the masked layer 110%. Sharpen.
Open element 23, resize 43%. Move to left. Change blend mode to Multiply.
Free rotate 5 degrees to left. Sharpen.
Open element 12 ~ resize 75% C/P
Mirror


3. Open element 15 ~ C/P
Open element 8 ~ resize 40%. C/P
Open element 9 ~ resize 50% C/P to right
Duplicate ~ resize 65% Move duplicate below original element 9.
D/S each element then merge down together.
Duplicate ~ mirror.
Open element 19 ~ resize 50%.
C/P to right ~ duplicate ~ mirror


4. Add main tube of choice.
Duplicate ~ adjust blur ~ gaussian blur of 2.
Change blend mode to soft light 'n drop opacity to 59.
D/S original tube layer only. 2/3/45/10 blur, color black
Open wordart1 ~ resize 75% ~ all layers unchecked
Select all ~ float ~ defloat
open Paper 2, C/P as a new layer
invert selection ~ delete. Deselect.
Duplicate this layer ~ change blend mode to Multiply
Duplicate twice more. Merge visible.
Add sharp D/S setting of 1/1/90/1blur, color black
C/P onto working image.


D/S any other elements


Resize tag now if you so desire using 85 - 90 % smartsize.

5. Add copyright, URL, watermark and name.
To add name as above, choose black for foreground color, close fill color.
choose Pen Tool ~ draw freehand ~ tracking 10, width 3
draw a freehand line along the curve of the girls back


Find font Carpenter, sz 72, fill color white, foreground nil
Anti-alias smooth, kerning 0, type your name
starting in the center of the pen line when you see
the A+ on your cursor.
When done typing your name, look at the layer palette for the + sign beside Vector 1
click the + sign to open the layers. Close the bottommost layer (the pen line)
and convert the Vector layer to a raster layer.
Use a faint D/S of 2/2/35/5 blur color #004000


6. Delete white background and save as a PNG.

Jacob Black

No Plugins, No Templates!
Mask 20/20 found HERE
Save into your Masks folder then direct your PSP program to locate
masks using Preferences ~ File Locations
Font for name is Twilight Breaking Dawn found HERE
Wordart by myself found HERE

1. Open a new transparent image 750 x 700 px. Flood fill white. We can resize later.
Open the tagback cluster C/P as a new layer.
Open the stonewall mask ~ resize 65% C/P, placing off center to right
change blend mode to 'soft light'

2.  Open tagback, C/P on top of cluster layer. This element will be deleted later.
Open close up of tube ~ resize 80% if needed.
C/P to left of tagback. Using the magic wand,
click outside of tagback layer, back to close-up tube layer,
press delete on keyboard to rid of tube excess.
Change blend mode to Luminance (l) on tube layer,
reduce opacity to approx 69.
To further soften edge of close-up tube layer,
apply the 20/20 mask by choosing Layers ~ load mask from disk
Source luminance, fit to Canvas, Hide all mask all checked.
Apply. Merge group.
Delete the plain tagback layer.

3. Open Tab cluster ~ resize 50%. C/P
free rotate 5 degrees to left ~ sharpen
Open wordart supplied ~ C/P to left
change blend mode to Screen
and drop opacity to approx 77

4. Open main tube of choice, resize if needed.
C/P ~ duplicate tube ~ hide top duplicate layer for now.
Open Leaves 2 ~ resize 65% C/P in between the two tube layers.
Duplicate ~ free rotate 5 degrees to left. Arrange.

5. Open Leaves 1 ~ resize 38%. C/P to right.
Open pocketwatch ~ resize 50% C/P
See reference tag for placement

6. Unhide the duplicate tube layer. This should be the topmost layer on your layer palette.
To give the appearance Jake is holding the leaves, select the selection tool ~ point to point
draw a selection around his hands to rid of jeans below
Magnify your image by using center wheel of mouse to 185% or more
See below


7.  Open lantern ~ resize 50% C/P
Open keyclip ~ resize 25% C/P rotate with pick tool, arrange & duplicate if desire.
Sharpen each keyclip.

8. Add D/S to all elements except duplicate of main tube layer and
 the tagback cluster layer.

If you wish to resize, do so now using 85 - 90% smartsize.

8. Add copyright, URL, watermark and name.
For name I used foreground black, fill color #694f35. Anti-alias Sharp. Stroke 1.0
Font Twilight Breaking Dawn sz 100.
Type name. Selections ~ select all ~ float ~ defloat
Modify selection ~ contract by 1
Add noise ~ uniform ~ monochrome checked ~ 29.
Deselect.
Add your favourite D/S to your name.

To animate,
delete white bg layer.
Copy merged, paste in Animation Shop as a new animation

Back to PSP, select lantern layer.
Draw a selection using freehand, add(shift) mode, feather 5
around the center glow of the lantern only.
With the feathered setting, the selection will appear as below:

Using adjust ~ brightness/contrast setting 25/0. Apply. 
Deselect. Copy Merged
Paste in A/S after current frame.

View animation. If happy, optimize using partial transparency setting of 40 pixels,
blend with color white (or bg color used in forum if you prefer).
Save as a GIF.

Dead Sexy

I did not make this zipper but merely tweaked the animation to suit this tag.

  * * * * *
 1.  Open template. Press Shift 'D' to make duplicate. Close original.
Delete top credit layer.
Select layer 6, float ~ defloat ~ add a new raster layer
open paper 8, paste paper into the selection. Do not deselect.
Modify selection ~ expand by 5, add a new raster layer
Choose two colors from your tube, one pink, one purple,
make a gradient using these colors using the foregr/bg gradient in the drop-down menu
setting: radial, angle 45, repeats 7
Flood fill the selection. Do not deselect.
Modify selection ~ expand by 5 ~ add a new raster layer
Open paper 4 and paste into the selection.
Add noise to this layer and the pink/purp gradient layer
by adding noise affect ~ random, 25, monochrome checked.
Arrange the layers with the black paper under the gradient layer, under paper 8 layer.
Sharpen the paper 8 layer twice.

2.  Select layer 5, float ~ defloat ~ modify selection ~ expand by 5,
add a new raster layer
Open paper 7, paste into the selection. Add noise effect as above.
Selections Modify ~ Contract by 5
Select Layer 5 ~ invert selection and paste a closeup of your tube
so the eyes are visible on this layer.  Delete. Duplicate ~ mirror.
Merge these two tube layer together.
Drop opacity of tube layers to 40.
Duplicate tube layers ~ apply plugin Screenworks ~ dot screen

3.  Select layer 4 ~ float, defloat ~ invert selection
open paper 9, paste it as a new layer ~ delete excess.
invert selection ~ Modify selection ~ expand by 5
Add a new raster layer
Open paper 4 ~ paste into the selection. Deselect. Add same noise affect.
Back to paper 9 layer, sharpen once, duplicate ~ change blend mode to multiply
and drop opacity to 55. 
Delete layer 4.

4.  Open frame 6 ~ resize 80%
C/P as top most layer.
Select layer 3 ~ float ~ defloat ~ add a new raster layer ~ flood fill with one
of the dark colors you chose from your tube above.
Deselect. Delete layer 3.
Open leather strip 1 ~ resize 75 %. C/P as a new layer
free rotate 90 degrees to left. Place Layer 2 on template. Delete layer 2.
Sharpen leather strip once.

5.  Select layer 1 ~ float, defloat ~ add a new raster layer
open paper 6 ~ paste into the selection
Modify selection ~ expand by 5
Add a new raster layer
flood fill with radial gradient you made earlier. Add same noise affect.
Modify selection ~ expand by 5 ~ add a new raster layer
open paper 4 ~ paste into the selection. Deselect.
Add same noise affect.
Move this layer below gradient layer, below the paper 6 layer.
See reference tag.
Select layer 1 again ~ float ~ defloat
open close up of tube ~ C/P as a new layer above paper 6 circle layer
invert selection ~ arrange tube to your liking ~ deselect.
Duplicate this tube layer ~ use affect gaussian blur of 2 ~ change blend mode to soft light
Apply Screenworks ~ pinhole affect to this layer

6.  Open cluster trim 1 ~ resize 85 % C/P above small circle layer.
Select word 2 b ~ float, defloat
Add a new raster layer and flood fill it with a nice silver metal
gradient found in your PSP. Deselect.
Delete the wordart 2 b.
Select word 2 ~ brightness/contrast -255/0 changes it to black.

Repeat for word1 b layer. Add silver gradient as above.
Delete word1 b.
Select word1 ~ float ~ defloat ~ add a new raster layer
Flood fill it with a gradient made from same two colors except use
linear 45 degrees, repeat of 1.
Deselect. Delete word1.
Add same Screenworks ~ dot screen to this wordart layer.

Open 3hearts element ~ resize 30%. C/P ~ mirror ~ move to right.
Sharpen once.

7.  Open main tube of choice, C/P ~ mirror. Position.
Select layer 6 (first large circle we worked on)
float ~ defloat
Back to main tube layer, invert the selection
and using eraser tool, erase the bottom part of the
tube to make it appear the tube is stepping out of the circle.
Deselect. Delete layer 6.
Duplicate tube layer. Apply affect Gaussian blur of 2.
Change blend mode to soft light and drop opacity to 48.
D/S original tube layer only using -2/3/49/9 blur color black

Open wordart2 (dead sexy) ~ resize 55% C/P ~ arrange as desired.
D/S all other elements (except tube) using 2/2/49/5 blur, color black

Add any other element of choice.
If you wish to resize tag, do so now using smartsize.

6. Add copyright, URL, watermark & name.
For name use foreground white, stroke 1, bg black
sz 110 font Chicken Butt ~ alias is sharp.
Type name, add D/S then sharpen once.

7. Open splatter 2, resize 75% C/P as topmost layer. Arrange
Duplicate ~ mirror ~ duplicate ~ flip.
Merge these 3 splatter layers ~ send to bottom ~ above white bg

Open chicken wire 2 ~ resize 55 % C/P Move to right
D/S using 1/1/45/5 blur, color black

Delete white background. Save as a PNG.


If you wish to animate, delete the copyright layer. We will add this after we resize in A/S.
I enclosed an animated zipper in my supplies.
Open the zipper in A/S
Back in PSP, close off or hide all the layers from the chainlink frame 6 and above.
Edit Copy Merged the bottom layers 'n paste in A/S as a new animation.
Duplicate this frame for a total of 20 frames. Select All
Select Propagate Paste
Open the animated zipper, Select All ~ Copy
Paste frame one of the zipper ani on top of frame 1 of the new animation.
View animation to check placement.

Back to PSP,
Close off or hide all the bottom layers up to but excluding the chainlink frame, 
open or unhide the chainlink frame 'n every layer above it. Edit Copy Merged.
Paste in A/S as a new animation. Duplicate frames until you have 20 frames.
Select All ~ Copy
Back to the original animation, Paste frame 1 of the new animation
over frame 1 of the zippered animation.
View animation to check for errors.
If you wish to resize, do so now using
bicubic 85-90%.
Back to PSP, add a new layer for copyright. Convert to raster. Copy
Paste in A/S as a new animation ~ duplicate for total of 20 frames.
Edit ~ select all ~ copy 'n paste on frame 1 of animation.
This helps to keep the copyright clear and legible once resized.

Supplies Needed:
 Corel PSP X2 or any version thereof.
Tube of choice.  I am using the sexy artwork of Jessica Dougherty.

Plugin:  EyeCandy 4000 ~ gradient glow
Font for name is FleurdeLeah, a payfont

 1.  Open a new transparent image, 700 x 650. Flood fill white. We can resize later.
Add a new raster layer ~ select all
open paper 6 ~ Paste Into the Selection
Deselect. Open mask ~ Apply.

2.  Open ribbon frame ~ resize 85%. C/P. Duplicate ~ change blend mode to Multiply. Merge down.
Open frame 4 ~ resize 92%. C/P
Free rotate 10 degrees to left. Sharpen.
Open heart frosting 1 ~ resize 30%. C/P free rotate 5 - 7 degrees to left. Sharpen.
Duplicate ~ move duplicate copy below frame.
Using eraser tool, erase any part of this frosting to make it appear to be clipped onto frame.
See reference tag.

3. Open swiggly line frosting 3 ~ resize 95%. C/P
Add elements of choice.  Add assorted cookies resized 60%.

4. Add tube of choice.
Add pink trim 1 ~ resized 85%. C/P
Duplicate ~ resize again 85%. Move slightly upward.

5. Add Love wordart or wordart of choice. I used chookiesheet 1 ~ resized 45%.
To brighten wordart, use Brightness/Contrast ~ 25, 1
C/P. free rotate ~ Sharpen once.
Add flowers of choice ~ resized 35- 50 %.
Add sugar hearts.
Add 'baked with' wordart ~ resized 75%.
Add white gradient glow to this wordart
using this setting:
glow width 3.0, 0 soft corners
opacity 100, move white slider to middle.
Apply.

5. Drop shadow all elements and tube using your favourite setting or
1/3/35/blur 9/ color black

If you wish to resize tag, do so now using smartsize.

6. Add copyright, URL, watermark & name.

Delete white background. Save as a PNG.
